What is an Omnidex Administrator?

In most organizations, one or more people are designated as Omnidex Administrators. This is a crucial role in an organization since the Omnidex Administrator is the key to delivering high-performing Omnidex applications. The Omnidex Administrator is similar to a Database Administrator, and usually fulfills the following roles. Click on any of these roles for more information.

  • Assist in designing Omnidex applications
  • Create Omnidex environments and databases
  • Determine Omnidex indexing strategy
  • Optimize Omnidex queries and monitor Omnidex performance
  • Train in the use of Omnidex and coordinate support with Omnidex Technical Support
  • Provide support to management, development and operations within the organization
