ODXQUERY

Info Window

The Info Window displays database information. It is available as the fourth option presented immediately after connecting to a datasource, as well as from the file menu in other windows.

Database Information is available in the Database Info window.

The left side of the window shows expandable options for available info.

The details are displayed in the right side of the window.

System table information is available by checking the System Tables check box at the bottom of the window.

The information displayed in this window cannot be changed with ODXQUERY

The following information is displayed:

• A list of tables including table name, number, type and physical location.
• A list of columns, including column name, number, data type, length and how it was indexed.
• Detailed column information, including name, number, type, physical, data type, length, occurs, scale, precision, usage, options, format, prompt, heading, label, sql select, sql insert, cache flag, as.
• Native indexes
• MDK indexes for the database and for each table, including index name, data type, length, group number if applicable and whether or not it is a composite index.
• ASK indexes for the database and for each table, including the index name, data type, length and whether or not it is a composite index.
• A list of parent tables, their children, type and physical location.
• A list of child tables, their parents, type and physical location.
• A list of stand-alone tables, type and physical location.
• $TEMPDB information
